Friday rolled around, and Pforzheim's Mayor Frank Fillbrunn heartily greeted 20 teenagers and their two educators from twin town Gernika, hailing from Pforzheim's Hilda-Gymnasium. Back in the spring, these 19 scholars who attended Hilda-Gymnasium, along with their Spanish mentors Grete Hippelein and Heike Wirth, visited Gernika's Seber Altube Ikastola as part of an exchange program. Why the ruckus? It's the long-awaited return visit!

Mayor Fillbrunn, a wise owl, elucidated the importance of such exchanges: "Student exchanges always serve as a fabulous investment in the future of our globe.
