University of Heidelberg Graduates 33 Trainees in Historic Ceremony
The University of Heidelberg celebrated the graduation of 33 trainees, with Makayla Ravenelle, a commercial management assistant trainee from the USA, delivering a speech on behalf of her peers. The ceremony, held in the historic Aula of the Old University, was attended by family, friends, trainers, and other trainees, with Colin Morgenthal and Dr. Sita Schanne offering their congratulations and best wishes.
The graduates, who have completed their vocational training across eight different professions in administrative, industrial, and technical sectors, received gifts from trainers Ilka Färber and Stefanie Dohse. Around 90 young people are currently in training at the university, with dual students from the University of Baden-Württemberg also able to complete practical components in specific bachelor's degree programs. Musical entertainment was provided by Angelina Madeleine, who performed pop songs on the piano. Katharina Bitter-Brückmann and Brigitte Knopp also presented tokens of recognition to the graduates.
The University of Heidelberg's class of 2025 marks a significant milestone in their careers, with their successful completion of vocational training opening doors to new opportunities. The university's diverse range of training professions continues to attract and support young talent, with the graduation ceremony serving as a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the graduates and their trainers.
