U.K. Government's Startup 360 Connect Program Opens for Kenyan & East African Startups
The Startup 360 Connect Program, backed by the U.K Government, is now accepting applications to help Kenyan and East African startups expand internationally. The initiative aims to accelerate high-potential startups, offering exclusive access to London Tech Week and fast-track U.K expansion.
Selected startups will gain access to a wealth of support. This includes investment and market entry assistance, with masterclasses and connections to U.K-based investors. Visa facilitation and registration for London Tech Week are also covered. Additionally, mentorship and strategic partnerships are provided, connecting startups with leading entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry experts. The program also offers legal benefits, such as access to Commonwealth benefits and support for intellectual property protection.
To apply, startups must be at the seed stage or Series A, with market traction and investment readiness. They should be headquartered in Kenya or East Africa and innovative, high-growth, focusing on sectors with strong global demand like Fintech, Agri-tech, or Climate-tech. The application process involves submitting an online form, a three-minute video, a PowerPoint presentation, and a tweet-length description of the startup.
The submission deadline for the Startup 360 Connect Program is March 26, 2025. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to accelerate their growth and expand internationally, with the support of the U.K Government and leading industry experts.
