Tragic School Success Story: 16-Year-Old Achieving 92% in Class 10 Takes Own Life After Having a Nightmare of His Deceased Mother
In a tragic turn of events, a 16-year-old boy named Shivsharan Bhutali Talkoti ended his life in Solapur, Maharashtra, on Friday. The suicide occurred at his maternal uncle’s home.
Shivsharan was a bright student who excelled academically. He scored an impressive 92% in Class 10 and was preparing for the NEET examination with the dream of becoming a doctor. However, three months ago, he lost his mother to jaundice, an event that deeply affected him.
In a suicide note, Shivsharan explained the reason for his devastating decision. He wrote that his mother appeared to him in a dream, asking him to "come to her." Overwhelmed with grief, he felt he could no longer live without her.
Shivsharan expressed gratitude towards his uncle and grandmother for their love and support. He also asked them to take care of themselves and to keep his sister happy. In a poignant moment, he signed off the note with 'Yours, Pintya', a name given to him by his family members.
The note also contained a request from Shivsharan for his uncle not to send his grandmother to live with his father. Shivsharan took full responsibility for his death, stating that it was his decision and no one else's.
Officials found the suicide note and are currently investigating the case at the Solapur city police station. Shivsharan was not only a promising student but also a loving son and brother. His loss is deeply felt by his family and the community.
