Istanbul, the historic city straddling Europe and Asia, has emerged as one of the world's most dynamic stages for technology, thanks to Teknofest. This annual event, now in its fourth year, has positioned itself as one of the world's largest technology and aviation exhibitions.

Teknofest offers a unique blend of trade fair, competition arena, show stage, and family festival. Visitors can witness breathtaking air shows featuring fighter jets, aerobatic teams, and passenger planes, as well as experience concrete examples of green innovations such as solar-powered aircraft and recycling robots.

The festival aims to inspire interest in technology and engineering, especially among younger generations. Universities are well-represented at Teknofest, allowing students to present their own projects. International cooperation is a significant aspect of Teknofest, with growing interest from European countries, Asia, and the Middle East.

Teknofest transforms into a future-oriented folk festival with flight simulators, virtual reality experiences, concerts, and stage programs. Sustainability is an increasingly important topic at Teknofest, with a focus on renewable energies, electric vehicles, and environmentally friendly technologies.

The event, launched in 2018 by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Turkish Presidency for Industry and Technology, has attracted delegations from countries including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and other Turkic states in recent years. The Solotürk squadron, Turkey's precision and speed demonstration team, received special applause for their performances during the air show.

Teknofest showcases a wide range of technology competitions, including drone racing, robotics, and hydrogen-powered vehicles. Research and development are emphasized as crucial for Turkey's economic power and independence. The festival is linked to the vision of making Turkey one of the top 10 technology nations by 2030 by politicians.

Many families attend Teknofest and express interest in attending more frequently. Teknofest has established itself as a major event that attracts international attention, transforming Istanbul into a bustling hub of innovation and technology.
