Students commence a fresh academic term at various elementary schools throughout Kuwait

The new academic year has begun in Germany, with First-grade students across all educational districts starting classes on Monday. This marks the start of the 2025-2026 academic year, and the Ministry of Education has made extensive preparations to ensure a smooth start.

The Ministry of Education has distributed 4.115 million textbooks for the new academic year. These textbooks are available not only in printed form but also electronically through the ministry's official website, electronic library, and students' Microsoft Teams accounts. The authority responsible for providing the electronic versions of schoolbooks for students to download is the respective Ministry of Education or education authority of the federal state in Germany.

The distribution of textbooks follows a first-come, first-served system. The ministry is monitoring the distribution process daily to ensure it runs smoothly. Batches of textbooks are being dispatched directly to the ministry's warehouses for immediate distribution.

Classes for the remaining elementary, middle, and high school grades also commenced today. However, science and mathematics books for middle school students are scheduled to be available next week. E-books are not mentioned in this plan, and the distribution of textbooks is a temporary plan until the full arrival of printed copies.

The Ministry of Education has provided full electronic versions of all textbooks for students who prefer digital learning. These electronic textbooks are a temporary plan until the full arrival of printed copies.

In addition to the academic preparations, the national awareness campaign "Our Students Are a Nation's Treasure" continues. This campaign focuses on safe behavior, prevention of violence and bullying, risks of drugs and cybercrime, fire prevention, proper use of electrical appliances, citizenship, respect for laws, and preservation of public property.

Security agencies have stepped up field efforts to ensure smooth traffic flow near schools. Personnel are deployed at main roads and intersections to regulate traffic and secure safe student access.

Kindergartens will open tomorrow, and the ministry is confident that the start of the 2025-2026 academic year will proceed smoothly. The ministry continues to monitor the distribution process and is committed to providing the best possible learning environment for all students.

The national awareness campaign "Our Students Are a Nation's Treasure" serves as a reminder that every student is a valuable asset to society. By fostering a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment, we can help our students grow into responsible, compassionate, and successful individuals.
