Specialist nursing school in Erbendorf is now under control of KJF
The Catholic Youth Welfare of the Diocese of Regensburg (KJF) has taken on a new role as the sponsor of the Specialist School for Therapeutic Education in Erbendorf. This move marks a new chapter for the school, with the change of sponsorship set to begin in organization, starting from the new academic year. Legally, KJF will become the operating sponsor as of January 1, 2025.
Johannes Reger, chairman of BBZ and mayor of Erbendorf, expressed his pleasure about the cooperation between KJF and the school. He believes this partnership will bring about positive changes and lead the school into a promising future.
Meanwhile, Johannes Magin, department head for participation services for young people and adults at KJF, expressed his resolve to lead the school into the future. Magin has been instrumental in various child and youth welfare initiatives under KJF Regensburg, which focuses on providing professional child and youth aid, social services, and educational support.
Elsewhere, the KJF was also involved in other community events. The festival of encounters, for instance, featured personal stories and lived inclusion, accompanied by the lively performance of the Line-Dance group of the St. Benedikt residential communities. The group, which rehearses every two weeks, has performed at various events, including the state garden show in Furth im Wald, civic festivals, and birthday parties.
In other news, the vibrant parade was the highlight of Eslarn's 25th anniversary Heimatfest. The long parade for the Edelweiss Shooters' anniversary was led by 15 clubs, while the Edelweiss Shooters of Sweet celebrated their 100th anniversary. The Hubertus Shooters of Guteneck-Oberkatzbach also celebrated their 325th anniversary, with highlights including the blessing of a restored flag and a parade.
A festival of encounters also marked the beginning of KJF's sponsorship of the Specialist School for Therapeutic Education in Erbendorf.
