Sparkassenstiftung Unveils 'The Mysterious Sea', a Time-Traveling Children's Book

Sparkassenstiftung in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss has published 'The Mysterious Sea', a children's book by author Birgit Wilms. Around 5,500 copies are being printed for free distribution to kindergartens and elementary schools, not available for purchase. The book will take children on a time journey through local history with characters Mia and Ben.

The book is being finished at a bookbinding company on behalf of Sparkasse Neuss. It will be translated into French, Japanese, Ukrainian, and English for distribution in partner cities and a friendly city, although the specific locations are not yet disclosed.

To celebrate the book's release, a painting competition is being launched for elementary school students. Winners will receive cash prizes and have their artworks exhibited at the Sparkasse Neuss branch on Dorfstraße in Meebusch-Buederich next year. Mayor Christian Bommers will host the award ceremony.

With the publication of 'The Mysterious Sea', Sparkassenstiftung aims to inspire local children's imagination and curiosity about their city's past.
