Sparkasse Cologne Bonn Invests €1M in City's Schools

Sparkasse Cologne Bonn is investing heavily in the city's education, allocating over one million euros to support all secondary schools in Cologne. Each school will receive a grant of 7,500 euros in October 2025, with no receipts or usage reports required.

The funding, aimed at fostering participation and togetherness, can be utilised for various purposes. Schools can use the money for class trips, to purchase laboratory equipment, or for other educational needs. The bank's board chairman, Ulrich Voigt, underscored the significance of education in its regional engagement.

With this substantial investment, Sparkasse Cologne Bonn is ensuring that every continuing school in Cologne benefits, with about 150 schools set to receive the funding. The bank's commitment reflects its dedication to supporting education and the wider community.
