And here's the breakdown: 50% want a full ban, while 41% are okay with partial restrictions during specific times. Only 9% believe mobile phones should be free for all in schools.

This trend is broader than just Germany. Across several European countries like France, the Netherlands, and Italy, schools have been adopting restrictions on mobile phone usage for quite some time now. Italy has even extended the ban to high school students from the next academic year.
