Seven New Recruits Join Main Customs Office Frankfurt (Oder)
Over 760 customs officers serve at the Main Customs Office Frankfurt (Oder), with more than 70 candidates currently in training or study programs. Today, seven new recruits joined the team, marking a significant addition to the office's workforce.
Oliver-Thomas Pampel-Jabrane, the head of the Main Customs Office Frankfurt (Oder), warmly welcomed and swore in the new recruits. These individuals have opted for a three-year dual study program, which combines theoretical learning with practical training. The program begins on March 1, 2026, and applications are open until April 15, 2025, for those interested in starting their career in this field.
The dual study program is designed to equip recruits with a well-rounded skill set. It involves six semesters of study, with three spent at the Federal Administration Academy in Münster and three at the Main Customs Office Frankfurt (Oder). Upon completion, the recruits can take on diverse roles within the customs office, ranging from administrative tasks to specialized units and financial control, even extending to customs investigation.
