The Alageum Electric University, established in 2011, is one of the leading educational institutions in the Turkestan region. Situated on the grounds of the Kentau Transformer Plant in Kazakhstan, the university is a structural part of the Alageum Electric Company.

The university offers a wide range of specialties, training specialists in fields such as energy, mechanical engineering, IT, renewable energy sources, and more. The institution's practical and innovative education system equips students with the necessary skills to excel in their chosen fields.

Classrooms at the university are equipped with computers and interactive whiteboards, providing students with a modern learning environment. Modernly equipped classrooms also showcase innovative student projects, fostering a creative and dynamic learning atmosphere.

In addition to academic learning, students at the university have the opportunity for practical training at the plant's production facilities. This hands-on experience allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, preparing them for their future careers.

The university library houses approximately 13,000 copies of modern technical, industry-specific, and artistic textbooks, ensuring students have access to the latest information in their fields of study.

The university's facilities also include workshops, where students can gain hands-on experience in electroenergetics, automation, IT, mechatronics, renewable energy sources, and 3D modeling. The university's workshops are equipped with modern equipment, allowing students to work with the latest technology.

During a recent press tour, journalists familiarized themselves with the Smartnation platform, a tool that automates educational processes and ensures transparency and convenience for students and teachers. The tour also included a visit to JSC "Kentau Transformer Plant".

Graduates of the university are working at leading enterprises in the country, demonstrating the institution's success in preparing students for their future careers. The university currently enrolls over 800 students across 11 specialties, and approximately 2,000 graduates have completed their studies.

The college's association with the Kentau Transformer Plant provides students with unique opportunities for practical training and collaboration with industry professionals. The college's implementation of a production-oriented, innovative, and practical education system makes it one of the top 10 best colleges in Kazakhstan. The college tour took place as part of the Year of Working Professions, highlighting its commitment to preparing students for successful careers.
