Final Exams Loom Next Week for Krasnodar Students

Preparation complete for 116 test sites in Krasnodar, set for official and government evaluations

Gearing up for the big day, over 116 exam centers in Krasnodar have been readied, with 27 schools opening for 11th graders, 75 for 9th graders, and 14 for state graduation exams. To cater to those unable to attend due to health concerns, 220 home-based venues are available.

Measures have been ramped up at exam locations, with buildings checked by sniffing dogs, access restricted to examinees, police, and medical staff only, and the installation of recirculators, air conditioners, and provisions for special needs students.

Slated to begin on May 21, 9th graders will dive into foreign language testing. On May 23, 11th graders will tackle history, literature, and chemistry.

Around 28,000 students are projected to appear for the state finals this year, including over 7,000 11th graders and 20,000 9th graders, along with graduates from previous years and college students.

Popular elective subjects this year include profile mathematics, sociology, informatics, biology, and history. 11th graders needing a second chance at success can revisit a failed subject on July 3 or 4.

Last year, 132 Krasnodar students scored a perfect 100 on the EGE, with six acing two subjects, as per reports from the city administration press service.

A heads up: In 2025, approximately 107,000 school graduates in Kuban are set to tackle the final exams.
