Over 100 thousand graduates successfully completed state and national tests in the Krasnodar region
In a bid to maintain fairness and integrity in the exam process, a Moscow court has recently banned several websites providing answers to the Unified State Exam (USE), Olympic Games Exam (OGE), and VPR. The decision is part of ongoing efforts to combat cheating during these important exams.
The ban does not affect the organization of the exam process or the participation of students. Over 100,000 ninth and eleventh graders in the Kuban region of Russia took part in the exam campaign this year.
For those who did not pass the final exams, the opportunity to retake them in the fall remains unchanged. Eleventh graders will only need to retake the mandatory subjects required for their diploma, while the decision does not restrict the options available for ninth graders to continue their education in school or enroll in vocational schools.
Deputy Governor Anna Minkova discussed the results of the completed exams in 2025 and emphasized the importance of supporting students who did not pass. She stressed the need to help them find employment or engage them in public activities.
This year saw an increase in rule violations by students, although specific details regarding the 2025 USE in Kuban are not widely available. The court's decision applies to various platforms such as VKontakte, OK, Telegram, Viber, and WhatsApp.
In a positive note, the region recorded 262 perfect scores on the USE. Among the top achievers, 256 students scored 100 points, and six achieved the maximum score in two subjects.
Anna Minkova has also ordered a detailed analysis of these incidents for the next academic year to further strengthen the measures against cheating and ensure a fair and secure exam process for all students.
The decision by the Moscow court not only adds to the ongoing general news about combating cheating, but also extends to education-and-self-development platforms like VKontakte and Telegram, affecting exams such as the Unified State Exam and Olympic Games Exam. Students who did not pass their final exams can still retake them in the fall, with the opportunity for eleventh graders to focus only on the mandatory subjects for their diploma, and for ninth graders to continue their education or enroll in vocational schools.
