Open Position: Volunteer Teacher - Madhesh Province
The Madhesh Province Government has announced the recruitment of volunteer teachers for secondary-level positions under the "Volunteer Teacher Program." The recruitment drive is part of the approved annual plan for the fiscal year 2081/082.
The written test for the Volunteer Teacher Program will be objective, and the exact date for the release of exam dates has not been specified as of now. The application submission period, however, has been set from 2081/12/29 to 2082/01/04, within office hours.
To be eligible for the Volunteer Teacher Program, applicants must be Nepali citizens, at least 21 years old, and not older than 58. They must have passed Bachelor's level or equivalent in the relevant subject and received training. Additionally, applicants must possess a permanent teaching license for the relevant level issued by the Teachers Service Commission.
The recruitment drive is open for the following subjects: Nepali (20 positions), English (40 positions), Mathematics (42 positions), and Science (30 positions), totaling 132 positions.
Applicants must also meet certain criteria to ensure their suitability for the role. They must be mentally sound and must not have been convicted in a criminal case involving moral turpitude. Furthermore, applicants must not have been dismissed from service in a way that disqualifies them for future government or teaching service.
The application process requires the submission of a filled application form, a copy of Nepali citizenship certificate, copies of academic qualification certificates, a copy of a permanent teaching license, and a copy of a training certificate.
The interview is another type of exam for the Volunteer Teacher Program. The recruitment will be carried out in accordance with Section 5 of the "Province Volunteer Teacher Mobilization (First Amendment) Guidelines, 2081."
A second notice publication date for the Volunteer Teacher Program is 2081/12/29. It is important to note that applications must be submitted within seven days from the date of publication.
