Notice for Partial and Improvement Exam Forms for NEB Grade 11 and 12 in the Year 2081

The National Examination Board (NEB) of Nepal has announced specific requirements for old partial and grade increment candidates who wish to submit their examination forms for Grade 11 and 12. The notice, issued by the Government of Nepal, aims to organise supplementary exams efficiently for students who need to improve their grades or clear previous partial failures before proceeding to the next grade.

Starting from Mangsir 1, 2081 BS, candidates can fill out the online examination form through the NEB's portal, accessible via https://exam.neb.gov.np or the NEB website www.neb.gov.np. The examination fee of NPR 1,000/- per subject must be deposited into the board's account at Rastriya Banijya Bank through the voucher system or the available Payment Gateway by Mangsir 27, 2081 BS.

Candidates wishing to take additional subjects must attach the original document. If the original migration document has been submitted to any educational institution, a recommendation letter from that institution must be attached. It is important to note that candidates with registration numbers starting with '56' or higher and '77' or lower (for Class 12) or '76' or lower (for Class 11) must fill out the application form only for the subjects in which they failed or did not achieve the required grade.

The application forms should be filed through the respective schools within 35 days from the publication date of this notice. Once submitted, schools must arrange the forms in sequential order based on the registration year and registration number. In the case of digital payment, proof must be attached to the examination form.

For candidates whose admit cards from the regular examination have not been submitted and have been retained by the board, they must participate in the examination using those retained admit cards. Candidates whose examination results have been cancelled are not permitted to participate in the re-examination.

The Education Development and Coordination Units are responsible for entering candidate details online, including subjects, by Shrawan 18, 2082 B.S., and securely keeping application forms for six months. If a candidate studied at schools that have been discontinued or are not currently operational, they must contact the relevant offices of the National Examination Board directly to submit their forms.

Candidates must submit a filled application form for the supplementary or grade increment examination, along with a voucher of Rs. 500/- deposited in the specific revenue account (account no. 14223) and a copy of their admit card and gradesheet, which can be downloaded from the official NEB website. These documents should be submitted through their respective schools to the Education Development and Coordination Unit by the deadline, which was Shrawan 16, 2082 B.S. (mid-July 2025).

The examination center and schedule will be published later based on the number of applications received. Candidates must take the exam based on the full marks they originally studied if there is a difference in full marks for a subject with the same name. No alternative arrangements will be made for candidates who fail to appear according to the assigned center and schedule.

These procedures aim to ensure a smooth and efficient process for supplementary exams for students in need of grade improvement or clearance of previous failures.
