The detained dirtbags charged over Rs 40 lakh per candidate for the NEET-UG 2025 question paper. The authorities discovered that in Rajasthan's Jaipur, the three scumbags lured the student and his family members to Gurugram, asked for the cash, but refused to reveal the paper when questioned. Wary, the student's family contacted the SOG, which apprehended the scoundrels on May 4.

"Their scheme involved local informants cherry-picking NEET aspirant details, facilitating their registration. Once admit cards were snagged, they were farmed out to scallywags in Bihar. It is speculated that proxy candidates would scale the NEET exam with manipulated admit card details," the Odisha police disclosed.

The NEET-UG is scheduled today, May 4, 2 PM. This grueling three-hour exam determines the educational fate of aspirants aiming to study medicine. Last year, the exam was held on May 5, 2024. It was mired in controversy after the question paper was allegedly leaked in states like Bihar and Rajasthan. The National Testing Agency (NTA) took punitive action, arresting exam center staff and students implicated in the NEET UG 2024 malpractice.
