After nearly two decades at the helm, Gabriele Fritz, the previous director of the Chorbusch School, is retiring. Fritz, who has been a teacher at the school for over 30 years, reflected on her time as a teacher, describing it as fulfilling, exciting, challenging, successful, difficult, thrilling, and peaceful. The faculty, students, and staff thanked Fritz with surprises and small gifts as she departed.

County Administrator Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke and District Administrator Tillmann Lonnes have welcomed Mercedes Schlosser to her new role as head of the Chorbusch School. Schlosser, who has been a part of the leadership team at the school for many years, has been appointed to continue the successful work of her predecessor.
