Celebrations filled the air in Manipur as the Council of HigherSecondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) announced the Class 12 results for 2025, with a whopping 94% overall pass percentage. The results unveiled three outstanding students who excelled in their respective streams, with Riya Khwairakpam being the shining star in the Science stream, Keisham Hannah Devi conquering the Arts stream, and Warepam Lidia Devi dominating the Commerce stream.

The high school graduation exams, held from February 17 to March 26, saw a total of 29,065 students enroll, 28,909 of whom participated across 112 examination centers in the state. With 89.95% of students from government institutions passing the examination, and 95.66% success rate for non-government students, these results indicate a commendable academic success.

Close on her heels, Mediciana Moirangthem, a student from Herbert School, Changangei, clinched second position with 483 marks. Both Silvia Lukram from Comet School and Laikhuram Linthoi Chanu from Pioneer Academy came in joint third, scoring 479 marks each.

In the Arts Stream, Keisham Hannah Devi from Enlighten Knowledge HSS, Sangakpham, left her competitors in her wake, having scored 479 marks. Harsh Maisnam, also a student at the same school, managed an impressive 476 marks to secure the second position, while Sagolsem Inunganbi Chanu bagged the third spot with 473 marks.

The Commerce Stream witness a government institution student taking the top spot - Warepam Lidia Devi of TG HSS, Imphal, with 463 marks. Yaifabi Sapam, also from TG HSS, earned the second position, with 434 marks under her belt.

Grateful for the timely declaration of the results, N Praveen Singh, Secretary (Education-School), Government of Manipur, praised the efforts of COHSEM officials. "The prompt result declaration will enable students to apply for higher studies without any delay, fueling their potential for a brighter career," he said.
