Latest Updates from the Classroom: Tips, Upgrades on the Platform, and Other Announcements!

The Trampolim Platform, an initiative by the São Paulo State Department of Economic Development, has introduced several new features to its JobReady: Employability Skills program. These updates aim to provide students with a comprehensive and immersive learning experience, preparing them for the real world of work.

One of the most significant additions is the Career section, which now includes the Personal Presentation Coach and the Career Peer Network. The Personal Presentation Coach is an AI-powered tool designed to help students improve their opening pitch, record a video, and share it with potential realtors. On the other hand, the Career Peer Network offers real, human connections with young professionals who are just starting out in their careers. Both certificates confirm that the participant has acquired essential knowledge related to employability.

Another valuable resource is the Interview Coach, which provides simulated job interviews with response assessments. This tool helps students improve their speaking, confidence, and preparation for the real interview process. It can be used in class for role-playing sessions, group analysis of AI feedback, and identifying strengths and areas for development.

The Career Buddy initiative offers one-on-one online conversations with young professionals to support students in the Skills for Employability program. Career Buddys have received training to ensure they always conduct sessions with students with active listening and a proactive approach. This initiative can be used in class to stimulate discussions about professional paths and challenges faced, bringing content closer to market reality.

In addition, the Employability Skills Community has been introduced as a discussion forum where students can interact, share experiences, articles, and create their own topics. This platform encourages students to post reflections on activities carried out in Colabore classes, stimulate discussions on relevant employability topics, and use student-created topics as a basis for classroom discussions.

The "Employability Skills" program's updated "During Classroom" section offers three types of activities: role-play, group case studies, and pair activities. Upon completing an activity led by the facilitator, students receive feedback evaluating their response, receive a grade, and have the opportunity to rework their reflection to achieve a grade of 3 or higher.

When accessing the module lessons, the facilitator can view each student's activities, responses, and grades individually. Students who meet the assessment score but do not complete the required number of reflections will still receive a certificate - the Basic Certificate of Completion. Those who achieve a score of 70% or higher on assessments and complete at least 70% of the Colabore reflections will receive the Advanced Certificate of Completion.

These updates to the Trampolim Platform are part of its mission to connect knowledge and technology to thousands of real job opportunities. By offering AI-powered tools, skill-building courses, and personal connections, the platform aims to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in their future careers.
