Kazakhstan Makes History at EuroSkills 2025 with 7 'Medallions of Excellence'
Kazakhstan has made history at EuroSkills Herning 2025, achieving an unprecedented feat for the country. The National Team brought home 7 'Medallions of Excellence', a remarkable performance that has earned them widespread praise.
The team's success was guided by mentors Askar Shakirov and Askhat Asfendiyarov. Baqdaullet Kuanysh excelled in Engineering Design CAD, while Baghzhan Koishybayev shone in Graphic Design. Danil Lapenko and Gleb Saulemko formed a formidable duo in Network and System Administration. Artem Mochnitsky and Danil Turapin's skills in Mechatronics were also recognised with a 'Medallion of Excellence'. Mukhametzhan Agibay's exceptional performance in Web Technologies even earned him the Best of Nation prize.
Over 600 young professionals from 32 European countries took part in the competitions, making Kazakhstan's achievement all the more impressive. The Kazakh team competed in 25 skills, showcasing their prowess in web technologies, mechatronics, engineering design CAD, network administration, graphic design, welding technologies, restaurant service, and more.
The Minister of Education, Ganymbek Beisembayev, extended his congratulations to the national team for their outstanding performance at EuroSkills Herning 2025. Kazakhstan's first-time achievement of this scale is a testament to the country's growing prowess in various professional skills.
