Investigative Report: Examination of the Commission's Activities and Decisions
Excited to share the latest scoop from our E-ART project? Let's dive in! 🌊
We recently hosted a buzzing meeting in Matera, Italy, on October 23-24, 2024! Between coffee breaks and brainstorming sessions, we covered essential topics like:
- Project milestones: We reviewed progress and results from recent training sessions in Greece.
- Coming attractions: We mapped out a timeline to ensure the smooth rollout of our brilliant ideas.
- Resource generation: We made headway on developing a library of materials and an artist profile gallery for the E-ART platform.
- Digital Residencies: We plotted our strategy for exclusive online residencies.
- Sustainable awareness: We revamped our plan to promote green art practices through awareness campaigns. 🌱
Attendees expressed pure enthusiasm for the event's outcomes and expressed faith in the project's direction! 💪
Where We Stand Now 🔍
We're on a roll with these key achievements already under our belt:
- The online launch of our Sustainable Best Practices Handbook. Check it out on our website! 📚
- Engaging in numerous brainstorming sessions and roundtables in each partner nation to discuss eco-friendly skills in the art scene and the importance of sustainability in art with stakeholders. 🌐
- Launching a productive partnership among diverse professionals to create modules for our "Sustain Art Curriculum." Expect it online shortly! Through this curriculum, we aim to instill sustainable values in the art world by providing both academic and hands-on learning experiences.
- Our tech wizards have been non-stop, building not only our website but also an online platform that features a Material Library, an Online Repository for artist promotion, and an interactive space essential for our E-Residency!
- "E-ART TRAINING": We conducted a training event in Thessaloniki, Greece, where partners, experts, artists, and curators collaborated on testing and evaluating each module developed for the "Sustain Art Curriculum."
Where We’re Headed 🚀
As we embark on the next phase, the main focus will be on implementing the awareness campaign through articles and posts on our social media channels, among other strategies. Another priority will be finalizing the E-ART platform by gathering sustainable materials and artist profiles.
In the pipeline: E-residencies, an online program that lasts a whopping 5 days, bringing together partners, artists, scientists, and other stakeholders. The E-residencies will facilitate the sharing of knowledge between professionals in the industry! 🤝
Additionally, we'll host art workshops aimed at both experienced practitioners and emerging artists, offering networking opportunities, promoting new collaborations, and encouraging experimentation with sustainable techniques and materials. Participants can expect specific training in sustainable art, the use of eco-friendly materials, and the creation of creative projects! 🎨

The education-and-self-development journey continues with the launch of the online education platform, E-ART, which features a Material Library, an Online Repository for artist promotion, and an interactive space for digital residencies. Learning opportunities expand as E-ART plans to offer online art workshops and an E-residency program.
In line with their commitment to sustainable practices, the E-ART project has already created the Sustainable Best Practices Handbook and is developing a library of materials and an artist profile gallery as part of their resource generation efforts.
