Internship Weeks Baden-Württemberg: Explore Careers, Make Contacts, Secure Future Jobs

The Internship Weeks Baden-Württemberg are back, running from October 13 to 31. This event provides an easy way for students to make their first professional contacts and potentially secure longer internships or training contracts. Students can explore different training professions during these weeks.

Claus Paal, Vice-President of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, stresses the importance of these internship weeks. He believes they offer an uncomplicated way for students to discover professions firsthand.

Martina Musati, Chairwoman of the Management of the Regional Directorate Baden-Württemberg of the Federal Employment Agency, echoes this sentiment. She considers internships a crucial part of career orientation.

The Internship Weeks support young people across the state from grade 8 upwards. They can find day internships in various industries, even if they no longer attend school. Registration is simple, requiring only a short online profile, no resume, and no grades.

In 2021, Minister Therese Aigner, responsible for education, science, and sports, was in the spotlight for this initiative. This year, Minister of Labor and Economics Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut encourages students to try out as many internships as possible. Students can also apply for exemption from school for an internship during school time.

The Internship Weeks Baden-Württemberg, from October 13 to 31, offer an excellent opportunity for students and young people to explore different professions, make contacts, and potentially secure future training contracts. With simple registration and support from various ministers, it's an event not to be missed.
