In a significant move, Kazakhstan showcases its National Pavilion at the Bett education technology exhibition in London.

In the heart of London, from January 22-24, 2023, Kazakhstan made its debut at the British Educational Training and Technology Show (Bett Show) with a national pavilion. The Kazakh delegation, led by Sayasat Nurbek, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, was there to present the Study in Kazakhstan project.

The Study in Kazakhstan project aims to reinforce Kazakhstan's position as a regional academic hub, attracting increased interest from international students. In recent years, Kazakhstan has welcomed over 30,000 international students, a testament to its growing appeal as a destination for quality education.

Large organizations in Kazakhstan are encouraging the use of artificial intelligence programs to improve digital skills, further enhancing the educational environment. Collaboration with leading international universities, such as Coventry University Kazakhstan and Heriot-Watt University, has resulted in the implementation of new educational programs, expanding academic opportunities and promoting the internationalization of higher education institutions in Kazakhstan.

Nurbek stated that the achievements of Kazakhstan's education system, including welcoming nearly 30,000 foreign students, demonstrate international recognition and openness to the world. He emphasised that these collaborations and initiatives are crucial in Kazakhstan's development as a regional academic powerhouse.

The national pavilion showcases six leading universities from Kazakhstan, along with branches of Coventry University Kazakhstan and Heriot-Watt University. The Kazakh delegation plans to sign agreements with leading U.K. universities during the event, fostering new opportunities for academic and scientific cooperation.

The Bett Show, a leading global event in education, brings together representatives from educational institutions, EdTech companies, universities, schools, and developers of educational solutions. It offers a platform to share experiences, present innovations, and discuss global educational trends. With approximately 30,000 attendees from 130 countries annually, it provides an ideal setting for Kazakhstan to showcase its academic offerings.

While specific details about the key features and benefits of studying in Kazakhstan, as highlighted by the Study in Kazakhstan project at the Bett Show 2023, were not available, it is clear that Kazakhstan is committed to its role as a regional academic hub, offering quality education and fostering international collaboration.

Technology plays a significant role in Kazakhstan's strategy to enhance its educational environment, as large organizations promote the use of artificial intelligence programs to improve digital skills. This commitment extends to the education-and-self-development sector, with the Study in Kazakhstan project striving to attract international students and collaborate with leading institutions like Coventry University Kazakhstan and Heriot-Watt University.
