IEAA 2025 Excellence Awards Now Open for Nominations
Nominations are now open for the prestigious 2025 International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) Excellence Awards. In its 17th year, the Awards recognize outstanding contributions to Australia's international education sector across seven categories.
The Awards, honoring individuals and teams in leadership, innovation, research, and best practice, are open to IEAA members. However, the Outstanding Postgraduate Thesis category is an exception, welcoming submissions from non-members.
IEAA CEO Hon Phil Honeywood praised the passion of Australian professionals in international education. He said, 'Our sector is driven by dedicated individuals who continually push boundaries and drive excellence.'
The jury, consisting of experts selected by IEAA, will determine the winners. The Awards will be presented at the 2025 Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) in Canberra from 14 to 17 October.
Nominations close on Sunday 13 July 2025. IEAA President Professor Ren Yi highlighted the significant impact of international education on Australian jobs and students' dreams, stating, 'These Awards celebrate the people who make that impact possible.'
