ISHCMC's Class of 2025 Shines Globally with Outstanding Academic Achievements
The Class of 2025 at International School Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) has made history with their exceptional academic performance. This year, the school achieved a 98% IB Diploma pass rate, significantly above the global average of 81%. The cohort's average IB score was 34 points, which exceeds the global mean of 30.58.
The success of the Class of 2025 is further highlighted by the fact that nearly 44% of students scored 35 points or higher. This strong academic achievement is a testament to the effectiveness of ISHCMC's educational programs.
In addition to their academic prowess, ISHCMC students also excelled in AP exams. A total of 159 AP exams were taken by 78 students, with an 80%+ overall pass rate and 34 perfect scores of 5.
The Class of 2025's achievements extend beyond academics. They demonstrated leadership and empathy through various initiatives, reflecting ISHCMC's commitment to inspiring and empowering young people to become confident, compassionate global citizens.

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, ISHCMC launched the 30 Year Grant to recognise and support students who exhibit exceptional talent, determination, and potential. The school also plans to further enhance student wellbeing initiatives, invest in state-of-the-art learning spaces, and expand partnerships with global institutions.
The Class of 2025 has been accepted into top-tier universities such as the University of California system, Imperial College London, University of Toronto, and Seoul National University. ISHCMC held its 30th Anniversary Gala Event on December 2, commemorating three decades of educational excellence and innovation. Six students from the Class of 2025 achieved the prestigious 40+ points milestone.
