Herford Vocational Colleges Open Doors to Prospective Students
Herford's vocational colleges will open their doors to prospective students on November 7th and 8th, 2025. This weekend event is an opportunity to explore the diverse educational programs offered by the five colleges in the region.
The vocational colleges in Herford cater to the structure of the regional economy, offering a range of professional focuses. These include Health and Sport, Education and Social Work, Supply and Nutrition, Design and Dual Training, Economy and Administration, Construction and Wood, Agriculture and Nutrition, Electrical, Motor Vehicle and Plastics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineering, and Information Technology.
During the open door days, teaching staff will be on hand to provide information about the various educational programs. Additionally, trial days are offered between November 24th and 27th, allowing young people to participate in classes and gain a concrete impression of the offerings.
