Generous donation in Gevelsberg: €33,000 directed towards underprivileged children
The Rotary Club Ennepe-Ruhr in Gevelsberg recently hosted its annual charity golf tournament, which saw a record-breaking fundraising success of 33,000 euros. This year marked the 15th edition of the tournament, and it was led by Moderator Jörg Wontorra and organizer Wieland Rahn for the tenth time.
A total of 96 golfers participated in the tournament, combining sporting ambition with social engagement. The teams from the home golf club won the brutto category with 45 brutto points, while the team from Volksbank Hohenlimburg triumphed in the netto category. The fundraising success of the tournament was made possible by the generous support of numerous sponsors, including Volksbank Hohenlimburg, Rahn Immobilien, Jabs roofing company, and Porsche Zentrum Trier.
