French Language Event at Local School Inspires Students
A French language and culture promotion project, part of a nationwide initiative by the Institut français, recently visited a local school. The event, led by a coordinator whose details remain unknown, sparked enthusiasm among students for learning French.
The visit, part of a broader nationwide effort by the Institut français, saw Sarah, a lecturer from Strasbourg, conduct three animated lessons in French for grades 7, 8, and 10. Despite the lack of information about the project coordinator, the event was a resounding success. Sarah's creative and interactive teaching methods made learning French an engaging and enjoyable experience for the students. A competitive word-matching exercise using popular song lyrics proved particularly popular and immersive, with students barely noticing they were learning a new language.
The visit by the Institut français project, despite the lack of coordinator details, left a lasting impression on the students. It motivated them to continue learning French and provided a unique, interactive learning experience through the exclusive use of the French language during the animations.
