Four Educators Honoured for Transforming Learning

Four remarkable educators have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to learning. Each winner of the 2025 McGraw Prize received $50,000 for their innovative approaches to education.

Dr Cathy Davidson, a Distinguished Professor at CUNY Graduate Centre, was honoured for revolutionising higher education. She championed digital literacy and student-centred learning, transforming traditional classrooms.

Dr Frederick Bertley, President and CEO at COSI, also won the prize. He transformed a regional science centre into a global leader in STEM education, making science accessible and engaging for all.

Imagine Worldwide's Co-CEOs, Rapelang Rabana and Joe Wolf, were recognised for their scalable, solar-powered, offline tablets. These devices have improved literacy and numeracy for marginalised communities worldwide.

Unfortunately, no information was found about the winners of the ETIH Innovation Awards 2026 in the Lifelong Learning category.

These educators' innovative approaches have significantly impacted learning, from higher education to marginalised communities. Their work demonstrates the power of education to transform lives and societies.
