Thursday, December 19, 2024 – Our Site today unveiled the pioneers of the debut Our SiteBLK 50: Power, Riches, and Influence List, recognizing 50 game-changers in the Black community, boosting self-made Black tycoons and philanthropists who are spearheading structural change in enterprise, culture, and society.

Inspired by the exponential growth of the Our SiteBLK network, the list assesses honorees through the lens of Our Site’s core principles, such as power, wealth, and impact. The distinguished honorees consist of a mix of C-suite executives, budding entrepreneurs, and influential community leaders, showcasing those who have left an indelible mark on the Black community.

"The debut of the Our SiteBLK 50 list coincides with the continued growth and success of our Our SiteBLK community, honoring remarkable leaders, investors, and innovators of color," said Jabari Young, Editor, Our SiteBLK. "When we launched Our SiteBLK, our objective was to establish a national platform to amplify diverse voices and catalyze a new era of societal transformation. Today, this list does not only celebrate achievements among influential figures in the Black community but also underscores the impact they are making across various industry sectors, dismantling barriers for future generations."

Prominent figures on the debut list include:

  • Asahi Pompey, reportedly the highest-ranking Black female at Goldman Sachs, who oversees the bank’s One Million Black Women initiative - a $10 billion investment plan highlighted in Our Site’s Journey To Our SiteBLK Summit.

Aside from the Our SiteBLK 50 List, Our Site will debut a new video series in three parts, titled, Building Riches Through... The series will profile accomplishments and strategies of various honorees spanning various industries like Real Estate, Wall Street, and Sustainability. It will feature interviews with Don Peebles, CEO Of Peebles Corporation, in Real Estate, Tracy Maitland, president of Advent Capital Management, in Wall Street, and Josh Aviv, founder of SparkCharge, an EV startup in Boston, in Sustainability.

Our Site will commemorate the honorees at its third annual Our SiteBLK summit in April 2025, in Atlanta.
