Euskirchen Kindergarten Transforms into National Park Haven

Euskirchen's Mitbachaue kindergarten has transformed its outdoor space into a certified national park kindergarten, focusing on nature and environmental education. The kindergarten's new area, designed for sensory nature experiences, includes features like willow tipis and a watercourse. The 'Wir für euch' civic foundation donated over 500 euros to support this project.

The kindergarten's goal is to foster children's exploration, creativity, and understanding of nature. The newly designed area, complete with a dead wood habitat for insects, encourages hands-on learning and appreciation for the environment. Alfred Jaax, the first deputy mayor and a board member of the foundation, praised the kindergarten's efforts to introduce children to nature and strengthen environmental awareness.

The search for the initiators of this project remains ongoing, as no information is currently available.

The Mitbachaue kindergarten's nature-oriented play and learning environment is set to enrich children's early education. With the support of the 'Wir für euch' foundation and the praise of local officials, this project is expected to have a positive impact on the children's understanding and appreciation of nature.
