Duolingo Launches 10-Week Language Learning Challenge for Oz, NZ Educators
Duolingo is launching a 10-week language learning challenge in Australia and New Zealand, inviting staff from CRICOS-registered institutions and NZQA-accredited providers to participate. The challenge, running from July 28 to October 6, aims to unite the international education sector through language learning.
Learners can choose from a variety of languages available on the Duolingo app. Weekly email updates will showcase top performers and feature standout learners. Registrations for weekly prizes close on August 31, with winners announced on October 6. Participants compete for an $8,000 charity prize pool and exclusive merchandise. The award ceremony for the winners takes place at the Australian International Education Conference in Canberra on October 15, 2025.
