DRK Kindergartens Enrich Reading Experience with Bürgerstiftung, Library Friends' Help

The DRK district association Niederrhein has expressed gratitude to the Bürgerstiftung and the Friends of the Library for their dedication in enhancing the educational experience of kindergarten children in the region.

The Bürgerstiftung Neukirchen-Vluyn recently gifted book packages to five kindergartens of the DRK district association Niederrhein in Neukirchen-Vluyn. The kindergarten heads, such as Ute Michalski of Kita Gänseblümchen, reported that the children were thrilled and engaged during the special reading hours organized with the support of the Friends of the City Library.

During these sessions, Dirk Tenberg captivated the young minds with animal stories. Meanwhile, Jürgen Meier, director of the Friends of the Library, introduced the city library and its benefits to the eager listeners. Kurt Best, chairman of the Bürgerstiftung, personally presented the book packages, stressing the power of books in opening new worlds and igniting imagination.

The Bürgerstiftung Neukirchen-Vluyn's book donations, along with the support of the Friends of the City Library, have significantly enriched the educational experience of the kindergarten children in the DRK district association Niederrhein. These initiatives have fostered a love for reading and expanded the children's horizons.
