Dormagen Welcomes 30 Motivated Junior Forces Boosting City Administration
Dormagen's city administration has welcomed 30 new junior forces, bolstering its ranks with motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute. These newcomers, spread across nine diverse training professions and courses of study, are embracing their roles with enthusiasm.
The junior forces, including educators, trainee firefighters, administrative specialists, and 'Bachelor of Laws' and childhood pedagogy students, have completed their first weeks in the specialist departments. They are tackling a variety of tasks, demonstrating their eagerness to dive into practical work.
Mayor Erik Lierenfeld underscores the significance of nurturing young talent, stating that a high-performing city administration depends on it. This commitment to youth development is reflected in the city's long-standing dedication to practical, diverse, and future-oriented training.
Sina Neumann, one of the trainees, appreciates the trust and involvement she's experienced from her colleagues. Fellow administrative specialist trainee, Finja Luück, feels immediately integrated into her team. Both look forward to gaining more practical experience and understanding the city administration's processes and workflows.
Dormagen's city administration continues to invest in its future, with 23 graduates successfully completing their apprenticeships or dual studies last year. The 30 new junior forces, now a month into their roles, are proving to be a valuable addition, bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the city's administration.
