Degree Awarded at Yassavi College
In a grand celebration on July 4, 2025, the Professional College "Turkestan Ahmet Yassawi" hosted the solemn diploma presentation ceremony for its 2025 graduates. The event, titled "Successful Career Launch, Young Professional!", marked the conclusion of the academic year with a formal closing event.
The ceremony was attended by college teachers, representatives of the Turkestan region's education department, the rector of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmet Yassawi, college's social partners, graduates' parents, representatives of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs, and veteran pedagogues.
The event began with a welcoming speech by Zhana Amanzholovna Temirbekova, the rector of the International Kazakh-Turkish University. She emphasized the importance of supporting young specialists and presented two educational scholarships for free studies at the university.
During the ceremony, the Director of the Continuing Education Center, Associate Professor Dr. Erkan Efilti, delivered remarks, highlighting the significance of the event. The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of diplomas to the 357 graduates who completed their studies with distinction.
Several employers also presented certificates to their newly hired graduates. Rixos Turkistan Hotel presented certificates to 7 graduates, AzMur and K LLP presented employment certificates to 4 graduates, while one employment certificate each was presented by the Amanat party branch, the "Atameken" chamber of entrepreneurs, and the Sandyq restaurant. The "1465" restaurant presented certificates to 2 graduates.
The best graduate of the "Software Engineering" specialty, Assan Sabyrbekuly, was the first recipient of one of the educational scholarships presented by the rector. Aynura Jahangirova Mahammatova, a graduate of the "Physical Education and Sports" specialty, a master of sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a bronze medalist of the national championship in para-judo, a winner of the Kazakhstan Cup, and a participant of the World Championship in para-judo, was the second scholarship recipient.
The employers praised the high level of student preparation and expressed their warm wishes for the graduates' future success. The ceremony concluded with wishes for a successful life journey and significant professional achievements for the new graduates.
