In the picturesque town of St Clement, Jersey, two significant projects have been completed, marking a milestone for the island's development.

The first project is a brand new mixed tenure scheme for Andium Homes, a major 200-home affordable housing estate. Known as Regents View, this estate has been constructed by main contractors Houzé Construction, and is located on New St. John's Road, St Helier. The development provides accommodation for over 400 people, with 40 three-bedroom affordable houses for private ownership by first-time buyers. The remaining 160 properties are retained by Andium Homes for rental clients.

The second project is the £3.5 million extension of the Jersey Archive, which doubled its capacity. The extension provides storage for paper and digital records for approximately 25 years, allowing the Jersey Archive to continue collecting records for many years. The extension was carried out for developers GR Langlois Ltd, and was designed by Axis Mason Architects. The Jersey Archive, which opened in 2000 in St Helier, currently holds over 600 years of recorded history.

The Jersey Archive's 20th anniversary was also marked by this expansion. The new extension allows the archive to house even more of Jersey's rich history, ensuring it is preserved for future generations.

The Regents View housing estate has been exceptionally successful, with Regents View being constructed between 2018 and its completion. The scheme's location in St Clement, Jersey, has been well-received, and each home comes complete with a rear garden, garden shed, and parking spaces.

The main person responsible for the construction of the 200-unit residential ownership project on the Samarès Nursery site in St. Clement, Jersey, is John Morrison. The project has received accolades, with the Jersey Archive receiving an award for its building design.

These two projects are a testament to Jersey's commitment to providing affordable housing and preserving its history for future generations.
