CiTTi Awards 2024 Honors Urban Mobility Innovators in London
The third annual CiTTi Awards, recognising excellence in urban mobility, will take place on 26 November 2024 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. The event, hosted by Andrew Ryan, will gather 200 leading transport professionals and their project partners.
Among the nominees is SoMoCo, recognised for 'A Nudge in the Right Direction'. This project tests innovative pedestrian crossings to encourage safe crossing behaviour, demonstrating impactful public awareness campaigns. Metropolitan Police's Toolbox Talk initiative, educating commercial vehicle operators on road risks, is also in the running.
London Borough of Camden, in collaboration with Fitzrovia Youth in Action and Sustrans, has been nominated for their Safe and Healthy Streets initiative, which aims to improve transport in the area. The ceremony will offer networking opportunities, preceded by a drinks reception and a three-course dinner.
The CiTTi Awards 2024, organised by City Transport & Traffic Innovation Magazine, will celebrate exceptional contributions to sustainable urban mobility. Finalists have been recognised for their impactful campaigns, educational programmes, and advocacy efforts, with the winners set to be announced at the prestigious event.
