Ciampi Hall undergoes a name change, now known as Ciampi-Condron Hall.
In a significant move, Holy Cross College has renamed Ciampi Hall to Ciampi-Condron Hall, signifying a transition from its former Jesuit residence to contemporary student housing. The change was officially announced during a ceremony held on September 7, 2024.
The renaming honours Kevin Condron, a distinguished member of the Holy Cross community, and reflects the evolving needs of students. A tribute to Condron can be found at the entrance of Ciampi-Condron Hall, acknowledging his commitment to the college.
Ciampi-Condron Hall is now home to the Wellbeing Living-Learning Community, a new initiative by Holy Cross College. This community, set to be piloted in Fall 2023, focuses on housing students who seek to live a well-rounded life, fostering holistic growth of the mind, body, and spirit.
Grace J Bromage '23 serves as the Senior Advisor for the Wellbeing Living-Learning Community, while Antonio Willis-Berry, the Director of Residence Life and Housing, expressed deep appreciation for Condron's lasting legacy. Current students, including William 'Beck' Schutte '26, recognise the significance of the renaming and express gratitude for the opportunities it provides.
