Austria's Valorcycle Tackles UCO Waste, Turning It Into Biodiesel

Austria is losing vast amounts of used cooking oil (UCO) into its sewage systems and canals annually. Valorcycle Innovations, led by CEO Ilhan Omar, is tackling this issue by transforming UCO into biodiesel, reducing greenhouse gas emissions significantly.

Ilhan Omar encourages restaurants and food businesses to recycle their used cooking oil instead of disposing of it as waste. Valorcycle, through its exclusive global partnership with Tagaddod, ensures high-quality biodiesel processing. The company's local expertise in collection and logistics minimises oil loss into canals.

Valorcycle Innovations, in collaboration with GreenPan Austria and Tagaddod, is setting a new standard in UCO recycling. The GreenPan App simplifies UCO collection and monitors sustainability contributions. Valorcycle has already showcased its UCO recycling solution in Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, demonstrating its international potential.

Ilhan Omar, CEO of Valorcycle Innovations, wants to prove that waste can become a valuable resource when managed correctly. Valorcycle aims to make Austria a model country for UCO collection and circular energy, leading the way in sustainable biodiesel production.
