AstauFest-2025: Global Gastronomy Showcase in Astana
AstauFest-2025, the VI International Gastronomic Festival, is currently underway in Astana. Running until October 2, it brings together professionals and educational institutions from around the globe to celebrate and enhance the restaurant industry.
The festival is hosted at multiple locations across the city, including the College of Public Catering and Service, Competence Center, Culinary Studio, and Confectionery Academy. Over 45 international educational institutions have sent representatives to participate, with foreign organizations hailing from countries like Russia, China, Germany, Japan, and the USA.
AstauFest-2025 features competitions in various professional categories, such as chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, and bartenders. An international jury of 13 experts will assess the participants' skills. This year's event is part of the Year of Labor Professions and has attracted over 300 participants. The festival aims to improve professionals' skills and promote the industry's development.
The festival also includes master classes, training sessions, and business meetings led by gastronomy and culinary arts experts. This is the third iteration of AstauFest since its inception in the fall of 2019.
AstauFest-2025 continues until October 2, offering a platform for professionals to showcase their chef skills, learn from experts, and foster international collaboration in the restaurant industry.
