Airtel Africa Foundation Aims to Transform 10M Lives by 2030 with FEED Strategy
Airtel Africa Foundation, led by Dr. Segun Ogunsanya, has outlined its vision for 2030. The Foundation aims to transform lives across Africa, focusing on four key pillars: financial empowerment, education, environmental protection, and digital inclusion, collectively known as FEED.
The Foundation's Connecting Schools initiative is a cornerstone of its educational efforts. It provides free internet access and devices to schools, bridging the digital divide and enhancing learning opportunities.
The Airtel Africa Fellowship, another key programme, offers full scholarships in technology and STEM fields. Fellows also receive mentorship and internships, fostering the next generation of African innovators. The Foundation's ambitious goal is to positively impact the lives of 10 million people by 2030, spanning countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and many others in Sub-Saharan Africa.
By 2030, the Airtel Africa Foundation aspires to improve the lives of 10 million people across the continent. Its FEED strategy, encompassing financial empowerment, education, environmental protection, and digital inclusion, is set to drive this transformative change.
