AgriTech4Egypt Challenge Launches: Up to EGP300,000 for Early-Stage Innovators
The AgriTech4Egypt Innovation Challenge, a collaboration between DAAD, ICARDA, and ARC, is now open for applications. This challenge aims to boost productivity, efficiency, and climate resilience in Egypt's agricultural sector. Scientists and entrepreneurs with early-stage agri-tech solutions are invited to participate.
The challenge offers an equity-free grant of up to EGP300,000 (US$6,500) from ASRT. Participants will also gain networking opportunities, professional advice, and a sponsored six-month acceleration program. The program will kick off with a fully funded four-day immersive bootcamp in June, followed by the accelerator phase until October, culminating in a demo day in November.
Applications are welcome from those with a proven concept or minimum viable product in agri-tech. The deadline for submissions is April 21st. More details and the application process can be found on the challenge's website.
The AgriTech4Egypt Innovation Challenge provides a platform for agri-tech innovators to test and validate their solutions with end users for up to six months. With its focus on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and climate change mitigation, the challenge seeks to drive progress in Egypt's agricultural system.
